On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, Young Farmers organize the Alpage Day. It's an opportunity to talk with farmers and shepherds, taste local meat and discover pastoralism. The meeting point is at the top of the Fontettes telemix (from La Joue du Loup) where, in addition to a convivial moment, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Dévoluy mountains.
On the agenda :
- 10:30 am: workshop on animal tracks and discussions with pastoral mediators.
- 11:30 am: local meat tasting (free)
- 12:00 pm: 100% local lunch (€15 on its own, €22.50 with chairlift ride)
Menu: tourtons, lamb kebabs, cheese, pie, yoghurt, drink - 2pm: meet shepherd Nicolas and his flock, find out how a mountain pasture is managed
Practical Information
Access via the Fontettes telemix, from La Joue du Loup.
⚠️ Your web order receipt will be required to take part in the event (access to the Fontettes telemix and pick-up of your meals). Please have it with you (on your smartphone or in hard copy) so that you can present it.
